ARTIST STATEMENT BY RYAN GORMAN
I have always been attracted to art that causes the mind to still whether it be through the piece’s beauty, simplicity or both. If the object is functional, even better. I enjoy the process of creating hand-built ceramic objects due to the amount of creativity, patience and precision involved. Ryan Gorman has a background in photography and is the object photographer for Ghatikara Ceramics Studio and School.
