Jenn Anderson Dragonfly Fund Project collaboration with BMWHRC

The Jenn Anderson Dragonfly Project is a collaboration between The Jenn Anderson Dragonfly Fund, The Blue Mountains Women’s Health & Resource Centre (BMWHRC) and ONE88 to encourage women to create.
Jenn Anderson was a local female artist who passed away a few years ago. Her husband Andrew Parkinson created the fund as a way to honour her memory and encourage women to create - something Jenn was very passionate about.
The program includes art packs supplied to women through BMWHRC as well as 6 weeks of art therapy sessions also run by BMWHRC, all funded by the Jenn Anderson Dragonfly Fund. The only guides for the artworks is that they must be on the 30x30 canvasses supplied, and a Dragonfly must be included somewhere on the artwork - a beautiful symbol of transformation.
The project takes place around Jenn’s birthday in October and runs for two weeks.
The project is moving towards its third year in 2025.
